Bart was born on the 02 May 1999 and is a Light Blue Roan Dog. He is Sebastian's half brother, and was one of three Blue Roans in a litter of 5, together with two Chocolate Roans.
He isn't as energetic as Sebastian or Douglas but when there is a lady present he is more lively and will do anything to impress her. He also comes to life when there are children round as well and makes a beeline straight for them.
He has had a very successful showing career with many 1st and Best of Breeds to his credit both at Guernsey & Jersey Open Shows. He has only been shown lightly at Championship Show level in the UK but was placed both times out.
Bart has also gained his Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Awards, which are run in conjunction with The Kennel Club.
On the 10 December 2005 with great sadness Bart went to a new home. He and Sebastian had been having fights which were getting progressively worse so after a lot of heartache and talks to behaviourists it was decided that the best thing to do would be to rehome Bart. He has gone to live with a wonderful lady who sadly lost her Springer Spaniel in August of last year he was only 7 and died of cancer. Bart has really landed on his feet as his new owner only works part-time and doesn't have any other dogs at him. He has her all to himself which unfortunately he didn't have with me. He sleeps on her bed and follows her everywhere. I miss my little Bee but know he is much happier now ............... Take care my special Bart .......
